We're with you from start to finish. Before we break ground, the journey to your perfect home begins with thoughtful lot selection and  architectural drawings. After concept, we continue with expert excavation and construction, then wrap-up by adding one-of-a-kind finishing touches to your home.  We collaborate with a wide range of trusted contractors, from architects and framers, to carpenters and interior designers, providing you with the highest quality home from the foundation up.

Our Story

Ballast Construction was born out of generations of home building; it began with the home my grandfather built for his family in Walpole in 1938, grew into a full-time construction and remodeling company my father started in 1975, and is continued by Ballast Construction, which I founded in 2013. Ballast carries on the lessons, vision, craftsmanship, and beliefs my father and grandfather practiced, and passed on to me: honesty, quality, integrity.  All backed by a commitment to my clients, and myself, to produce the best product possible, always.
